This team performs fundamental research into the combustion of supercritical fuels and uses the results to develop and apply the novel combustion system behind “Injection Ignition”. Transonic is led by a management team with extensive experience in the auto industry and financed by some of the leading venture capital firms.

Based in the farming community of Camarillo, California, Transonic is outside of the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, while still able to draw upon the rich pool of aerospace engineers in the area.
