What's it Like?

Transonic Combustion maintains an intense hands-on engine R&D program with in house state-of-the-art prototyping, instrumentation, engine control software development and multiple engine test stands. We offer an exciting high-energy environment for hands-on oriented mechanical, electronics and software engineers, CAD/CAM machinists and electro-mechanical prototyping technicians. Our management team has an outstanding record of corporate startup successes, and many of our technical staff are highly accomplished senior leaders from their prior companies.

Our expanded R&D facilities and core operations are located in Camarillo, California, and we opened our Detroit-area office in Bloomfield Hills in mid-2009.

Successful applicants must have a portfolio of winning projects in their field of expertise, preferably connected with automotive powertrain. Accomplished academic work and professional work history are also considered very important.
